Surprises that life bring...good and bad.

On Tuesday night we got a call from my sister stating that she got a phone call from her doctor that evening and the doctor told my sister that she needed to go to the hospital to be injected with insulin for 48 hours or she could be at risk for losing the baby she is carrying. Her sugar glucose index was high due to the fact that she is already diabetic no being pregnant so being pregnant and diabetic is really risky and you have to watch! Of course we all started panicing because the doctor had wanted her to go that evening but she couldn't due to the fact that my brother in law was still at work and my sister had my nephew so my parents went all the way to Pennsylvania to pick up my nephew pretty late at night so he wouldn't have to get up at four in the morning with my sister and brother in law to take my her to the hospital. She had to stay in the hospital for just a day which was better for her but has to keep up with the insulin through her pregnancy, as far as we know. She got released out of the hospital last night and so far is doing pretty well. We have had my nephew since Tuesday night and he is still with us! It's so nice that I am seeing him so much now because we just had him last week for a few days and now we have him again for another few days! He will be staying with us until Sunday which is when my sister and brother in law are coming up to celebrate my 18th birthday with me! It's been so busy with him being here and I haven't really had too much time to take many photos but the photos that I do have I will post with the next one! Julian is doing well and we are glad that everything so far is going okay with my sister! We were very nervous with her blood sugar being so high but now it is under better control, phew! Will keep you all updated :)
