Update/sister's baby shower! :)

It has been so very long since the last time I posted any news on here and I think it's about time for me to do some updating! My nephew is doing very well and is so excited that he will be a big brother within the next six weeks or so (wow)!!! I am also really excited and very much looking forward to the birth of my sweet little precious niece that I am sure she is going to be :) My sister has about six weeks or so to go, the time went so fast...it's amazing. My sister is now about seven months and a week pregnant, something like that and she is doing pretty good, thank God! She has been doing really good controlling her levels of her diabetes..and we are really proud of her for that! She has been going to the doctor for an ultrasound every week to make sure that the baby is doing well and is at a good point growing in her belly still! We are hoping that the baby can hold off in there for at least another month or something so she can do all the growing in my sister's belly yet! Fingers crossed!

My sister had her baby shower on May 15th, which was a few weeks ago but I haven't had a chance to get on here to post any updates or pictures (sorry for that)! The baby shower went really well and she got a lot of nice stuff for Leanna! She got lots of clothes and little stuff that are definitely going to come in useful when little Leanna gets here. It was not only a baby shower but kind of like a get together/barbecue, it was really nice and we had wonderful weather for it as well. Now we are just waiting for the arrival of Leanna Rose, but we can wait a little bit longer for her sake! I bet she is going to be one precious little joy! The doctor at her appointment last week said that the baby was almost five pounds which is really good...I hope that she is at least like seven pounds at birth, that would be perfect..but we'll see :) Julian will be coming to visit us this coming Thursday...afternoon sometime until Monday night (I think), so I am looking forward to seeing him again because it feels like it has been a long time since I've last seen him, I miss my little ball of energy!

Happy Mother's Day to all!

Its been so long since I have updated on here that I thought I would put an update. Everything is going well, my nephew is doing really well (growing like a weed but that's nothing new). My sister is doing pretty well with her pregnancy as well. I was inivited to go to the doctors with her to have her utrasound done yesterday and most of the news we got was pretty good, thank God! The only thing that they were a little concerned about was the flow in her placenta. The flow in her placenta is not really what they want it to be at so they are going to be monitoring her every week, meaning she has to go once a week to have an ultrasound up til when the baby is going to be born. They said that the baby might have to be born a bit early due to the lack of flow in the placenta but she is REALLY healthy though, Thank God!! The date for my sister's c section (if she goes all the way to 39 weeks) is going to be probably July 17th, hopefully she will be able to make it that far with the placenta problem. As long as she can make it another month or month and a half, I am sure the baby would be fine because sheis 29 weeks as of now. The baby is also already three pounds and 5 ounces, yay!! The doctor said also if she does make it to 39 weeks, she is probably going to have a good eight pound baby! Other than that everything is going well.

Tomorrow, for Mother's Day, we are going to be celebrating it by going up to my sister's house to go out to dinner with them. Mother's Day is such a nice holiday! I will be posting pictures sometime next week of our Mother's day all together! Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there!! Not only Mother's but godmothers, aunts, etc!!

Time flies!!

Oh it's been so long since the last time I updated on here! I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to update! So much has happened since the last time I wrote which was when I found out I was going to be an aunt again to a little girl. My sister is approaching her six month come two weeks from now and I can't believe how fast her pregnancy is going. Her baby shower which we are having in May, which is not really a big baby shower or anything but rather a get together/barbeque where family and friends can bring some gifts if they would like, is going to be so much fun and I can't wait! It's going to be May 16th which is great because May usually brings us pretty nice weather here, we are hoping anyway! We are all having so much fun shopping for all the "girly" stuff this around time and thought that the day was never going to come for us to be able to buy all the cute baby girl clothes! I already had a diaper cake made for her baby shower, brought several outfits and what not for the baby and also had hair bows made up for her too which are so adorable!!!


My nephew is doing really well and so anxious and excited for his new sister on the way. I think he is going to be a really good brother because of the way he acts already when it comes to the baby and all the baby stuff, he loves it! He also loves asking tons of questions about it all too, which I think is so cute! I think he is going to be a big helper for my sister too which she is going to love and need and also will make him feel more involved with the baby and stuff! I also think he is going to be really protective of his little sister, which is a natural thing. This past Easter, we weren't able to spend it with my sister, brother in law and nephew on the exact Easter day but we spent two days before Easter with them to give my nephew his presents from "the Easter bunny" and to get to spend time with them. It was nice but just not the same as spending Easter Day with them, but hopefully next year we will all be together for Leanna's first Easter!


Julian is still growing like a weed and getting smarter and taller each and every day. Unfortuantely he won't make it into kindergarten this year because he misses the cut off since his birthday is in September and where they live, the kids start school in August...darn!! We were hoping that he was going to be able to get into school this year because he really needs it and needs to be around other kids but we have to wait until next year now. He is a really smart kid so I don't think he will have too much of a problem when he does go to kindergarten next September! My sister is thinking about putting him into T ball or something though because he is just full of so much energy all the time and I think that would be good for him :D I would also love to be able to watch him play T ball and go to his games and stuff, so much fun!

proud to annouce that....

I am going to be an aunt for the second time to a niece this time around!! My sister just found this past Friday and we are so very excited and patiently awaiting until July (when my sister is due). Julian spent Thursday till Saturday night with us, which was a shorter stay than usual. I am working on the photos and editing the photos that I took of him so, I will post them sometime soon but for now I wanted to proudly announce the wonderful news. Hoping for a healthy beautiful baby!!! Photos will be posted real soon.

And the snow keep's on coming!

So this past week started out by giving us some yucky weather! I would much rather have the snowy weather then the "wintry mix" any day because it's just so messy, but last night into today we got another winter blast! The storm continued all day today and is supposed to continue into tomorrow sometime, as they say. When is the snow ever going to leave us? When is Mother nature going to bless us with beautiful spring weather? I hope it's on it's way because as much as I love the winter storms that we've been seeming to get hit with quite frequently, the cold and snowy weather does get old and boring, which leads me to think more and more that I can't wait for spring time. It's definitely time for a season change! I really do hope that it is right around the corner as we are all waiting as patient as possible for it to arrive. Next Thursday, Julian will be coming to visit us and I am anxiously awaiting for my adorable nephew to come again because I do miss him very much even though it hasn't been TOO long since I've seen him last but sure feels long enough. He will be visiting due to the fact that we miss him but also, my sister has her doctor's appointment with her OBGYN to find out the sex of the baby, which is so very exciting. He is not allowed to be in the room with her while she finds out and she just figured it would be easier if he came for a visit here, which is always fine with me! I love spending time with my nephew so any chance that I can, I will take. Of course we hope that during her appointment, the baby is cooperating and allows the techinican to determine the sex of he or she, because when she was pregnant with my nephew they were not able to find out what she was going to have until she was almost ready to give birth to my nephew due to fact that he kept his legs closed (he was a shy little fella) every time she went to go and try to find out what she was going to have so we are hoping that this baby is less shy and more cooperative

It really does blow my mind that it is almost time for my sister to find out what she is going to be having. It felt as it was just yesterday when my sister and I were talking about having to wait another month or a little more until her doctor's appointment and here we are now with it only being less than a week away until she is going to! I really do have a feeling in my heart and have since the beginning of her pregnancy, that it is another boy, but we'll see. I could be right, I could be wrong, only God knows if I am! I still strongly hope for a little girl for my sister, a little niece would be fabuolous but either way we will be blessed with whatever God gives her and my brother in law, as long as the baby is healthy and beautiful...that's all that matters. I was going through some of my videos on my camera, because just recently my camera allowed me to upload them onto my computer and I thought I would post one of them since it's really cute and I didn't get to on previous posts. It's not too long ago, maybe about two months ago, when he was here visiting us and was sitting to his favorite song by owl city called fireflies! He really does enjoy listening and singing to that song, as for now it is one of his favorites and will sing to it whenever we put it on for him. It seems like his kind of song because it's different! hehhe.

Julian's next visit...

is really not too far away! He will be making his next visit up here to see us on March 4th (most likely) because my sister has a doctor's appointment on March 5th to find out the gender of the baby on it's way! I am so excited for my nephew coming but also for my sister finding out what she is going to be having. I have a very strong feeling inside that she is having another boy, but we'll see...maybe I'll be surprised. My wish for her is to have a little girl because I know every mom would love to have a daughter to raise but at the same time it would be nice for my nephew to have a little brother to grow up with so either way I will be beyond thrilled but would love a niece so I would be able to say I have a niece and nephew. He will be coming for a few days which I am excitied about because he hasn't been up here in a while, since my last visit was at his house for a few days for Valentine's Day weekend. Even though it has only been not quite a week since I've last seen my nephew, I miss him so much! I can't wait for him to come again, it's always so much fun with him around...there's really NEVER a dull moment with him. I am already printing out some preschool online worksheets to do with him when he comes because I love working with him on his learning and he doesn't mind doing it too much either. I love watching him learn right in front of my eyes, no better feeling! He is growing into his own little person, it's so neat to watch. It's so hard to believe that he is going to be a "big brother" not too long from now considering it felt like I was just holding him as a newborn like it was just yesterday. I am really curious to see what kind of big brother he is going to be and if he is going to go through any jealousy issues which I really hope not, but if he does at least it's not something uncommon. I think he will be an amazing big brother especially because every time he sees a little baby he is always in AWH. I love it! Valentine's Day Weekend!

These past few days have been spent with my sister, nephew, and brother in law at their house in PA for Valentine's Day weekend! I had such a fun and exciting time and spent some good quality time with my sister and nephew which was really nice. My stay up in PA started on Friday when my sister came to pick me up after I got my haircut! We then made our way up to PA which once we got there consisted of us hanging out and just having a chill out day since we knew our weekend again was going to be pretty busy! I was so excited to get to play and spend time with my nephew again because it had been a while since I'd seen him last.

On Saturday we got up early and went to do some shopping which was exciting because it was only my sister, nephew and I since my brother in law was at work. Later in the afternoon on we then got a visit from one of my sister's friends from high school which was nice because she knows me real well from seeing me all the time when my sister was younger and in her high school years so it was sweet to hang out with her. It had been a while since my sister seen her friend so it was sweet even though it was sucky she only stayed for a few hours! We then just spent the night hanging out with my sister's friend and her boyfriend, ate pizza and just chilled out and watched tv for the rest of the night which was nice and relaxing. During the day I spent a lot of time with my nephew, playing with him and sitting down with him to do his ABC's and his "learning time" which I really love doing with him! It's so neat to see how much he really does know because he really knows so much, he's such a smart kid! He knows so much for his age, it's wonderful!

On Sunday Valentine's day had arrived and it was definitely a busy day! Valentine's day morning we went out to breakfast (my sister, I, brother in law and my nephew) which was nice. Then after that we went back to their house and got more visitors which were my sister and brother in law's two friends that came to visit and spend the day and night with us and also went out to dinner with us as well! After hanging around with them all day and just relaxing we then got ready to go out to dinner. We had planned on going to Red Lobster but that didn't happen due to the two hour wait, it was packed, so we ended up going to different restaurant.

The weekend had went by so fast and I couldn't believe that my time at my sister's house was ending as quick as it did. On Monday it was another hang out day so my sister and I just hung out and watched tv all day and I played with my nephew too since it was my last day that I was going to get to spend with him until I see him again which probably wont be until early next month when my sister goes for her next U/S to find out what she is going to be having, hopefully! I practiced more ABCS and numbers with him. We didn't inform him that when he woke up on Tuesday morning that I was not going to be there due to the fact that he would have cried and gave my sister a very hard time to put to sleep on Monday night. It sucked knowing that I wasn't going to be able to say goodbye to him before I left in the morning but it was too early and he was not awake even though I know he would loved to have been! Today is my first day back home and I miss him and my sister dearly already and can't wait to see them again! Happy belated Valentine's day to all out there and hope everyone was able to be with the people they love for it!

It's hard to believe...

That we are already in the month of February already and that Valetine's day is right around the corner! It doesn't feel like the celebration of new year was far over a month ago already, wow! I just realized that I didn't post anything the last time that Julian visited because things were so hectic but wanted to post the pictures even though I am very late with it, very sorry. It's been about three weeks, at least, since I have seen Julian and I miss him dearly! We are now blizzarded in with a snow storm today which is always fun...nothing like a good winter blizzard but hoping that it will be our last big one but knowing our weather I am sure it's not going to be! We are waiting for the arrival of spring...even though it feels so far away and we are still dealing with the bitter cold temperatures.

Julian is doing well though and getting more excited over the thought of his brother or sister on the way. I think he kind of understands what is going on but I am sure at the same time he is a bit confused. He does know that his mom is going to have his brother or sister and he does go to my sister's check ups with her which she says he really loves. It's very exciting! When Julian was here last time, he stayed for a few days with us and it was very fun as it always is! Him and I took a nice long walk around my grandmother's neighborhood and I took pictures with him and we had fun together just being outside and enjoying the fresh air! It's so amazing to see how he changes over time and looks more and more like each of his parents and also the character traits that he has from each of his parents but definitely has more from his father's personality I must say! I love being able to spend time with him because he is not going to stay small forever so I want to enjoy every minute of it.
