OH...the joys of Christmas time!

These past few days have been the busiest yet the best days of the year! Our Christmas started early Christmas Eve at my grandparents house. After paying our visit with them we made our way over to my sister's house where my nephew was waiting patiently for us to arrive. Christmas Eve was so fun and exciting, especially for Julian! He was so excited for his presents from Santa that I doubt he slept much because he was so anxious to see what Santa was going to be leaving for him! I loved being able to help my sister and brother in law get his presents all ready under the tree! Before my nephew went to bed, my mom read him the Christmas book like she did with me and my sister when we were younger! It brought back such memories! Before Julian went up to bed he kissed everyone and made sure that he left cookies and milk for Santa, that again brought back memories of me being a kid!

After Christmas Eve was over, Christmas day finally arrived...much faster than I had thought it was going to! I got very little sleep that night but it was all worth it. We were all surprised that Julian woke up as late as he did. We were all waiting for him to wake up early in the morning but he didn't end up waking up till about eightish, I was shocked! I woke up extra early for him on Christmas morning to make sure I was awake before he came downstairs and it ended up he didn't wake up as early as I was planning on him to! I got to enjoy the early morning with my sister, mom, dad, brother in law, their doggie Shy, and my sister's biological mom before Julian woke up and started opening all his gifts! I wasn't able to get that many photos of him coming down the stairs from his bedroom because he came down so fast and it was kind of hard but I got one. The good thing is that my dad got it all on tape!

Once he got downstairs he gave his dog (Shy) her Christmas presents and then went to town opening his after a few minutes of trying to wake up! He definitely wasn't used to having so much camotion going on so early and as soon as he woke up. He had so many gifts under the tree it was unbelievable and looked so beautiful! He was opening presents for probably an hour and a half if not more! He had so many presents to unwrap that he was actually getting "tired" of opening gifts, what kid gets tired of opening gifts?! I got tons of pictures of him opening his presents! I was so thankful to be there at his house to watch him open his presents and be together with my sister and her family, it was incredible and definitely felt like old times with my sister when her and I were growing up! It was definitely a Christmas that will always be remembered and treasured!

He was so excited that Santa brought him a max and ruby DVD! He loves max and ruby and was hoping Santa would bring him that!

After Julian opened up all his presents we got all ready for Christmas day and began helping my sister prepare all the food for the Christmas dinner! It was a really busy and exhausting day but was so much fun! Julian got so much for Christmas. So much toys, clothes and everything else! It was so fun playing with him and his new toys on Christmas day. I remember when I was younger I was so excited to finally be able to play with my new toys that Santa had brought me! He opened up his kitchen set last and he was so happy that Santa had brought him the kitchen set that he asked for. On Christmas day, He kept saying that he was going to be the cook and he wanted to cook for everyone. It was too cute! Not only did he get a kitchen set but he got tons of food/drinks, pans to go with it as well as a grill to play with, it's adorable! With him being four, he loves playing "make believe" and using his imagination which is really wonderful because he was "cooking" for me with his new kitchen set!

Julian putting his spiderman costume on that he got for Christmas! He just loves costumes, especially spiderman and batman!
